St Paul’s has its own active Young Vinnies Group – which is the youth arm of the Catholic organisation the Society of St Vincent de Paul.
The objective of Young Vinnies is to encourage students to realise there are people in society in need. They are encouraged to offer help to the school and to people in the wider community. They also participate in a yearly Homeless Retreat, which is an overnight retreat, where they sleep under makeshift shelter on school grounds in order to better understand the plight of the homeless and the impacts of poverty.
To join the Young Vinnies Group at St Paul's College, please email Mrs Kirstie Wearmouth.
