It's been a fun couple of weeks in the library: UNO competition, new games and Halloween spooky theme.
Our annual UNO competition ran for two weeks with each competitor playing three rounds to determine our 12 best players with the lowest score. These 12 then played the semi-final for the top six spots in the final.
It was a fairly quick battle with a few wild cards thrown in that caught out a couple of players. Josh Benoza took advantage of that and played his final card to be crowned our 2022 winner. All competitors played fairly and respectively and it was a fun tournament to hold. Congratulations Josh!
We have a large number of new games in the library that are being tested. Games are a valuable resource as they promote teamwork, patience, critical thinking, memory as well as boosting language skills.
