On Saturday 25 March, Blind Low Vision NZ ran their annual street appeal. This was the biggest event that I had coordinated in my time as Service Director for the school with 42 of our St Paul's students (as well as 22 wonderful parent volunteers) occupying five stations across Pt Chevalier, Grey Lynn and Ponsonby.
Well done to the following students who took part in the event:
Year 7
- Orlando McKillop, Anthony Fransham, Champ Meleisea-Murray, Benjamin Murray, Andy Piutau, Timothy Gray and David Hunuki-Hurt
Year 8
- Maselino Maselino, Emmanuel Neemia, Gianni Williams-Fotu (who completed eight hours at the event), Jasiah Leha'uli, Jan Maglangit, Leeroy Skudder, Naea Williams, Hezekiah Tuimalatu, Brycen Mason and Jahmal Stowers (he and his mother Lynda did a marathon six hour shift)
Year 9
- Hugo Lloyd, Sikulu Ahio, Duncan Hogg, Perekina Uaisimeni-Puepuemai, Marseille Niuula and Siale Piutau
Year 10
- Xavier McKillop, Pharrell Hughes, Iverson Niuula, Isope Taufa, Loa Taufa, Troy Fuimaono, Xavier Cocker-Lavakeiaho, Robert Piutau, Kainen Fuimaono, Jayden White, Andre Viray and Feata Sului

Great work gentlemen. You raised lots of money for a worthy cause.
You've made the school, your families and your community proud.
