Holy Thursday is always a special way to close off the term. This year, we were very blessed to have Pa Peter Tipene celebrate our Holy Thursday Liturgy. The liturgy included the traditional ritual of the washing of feet, mirroring Jesus' act of servant leadership at the Last Supper. As always, six Year 7 students were chosen to have their feet washed in front of the kura. The washing was done by our Headmaster, Deputy Headmaster, Director of Religious Studies and Head Prefects to keep the spirit of servanthood and humility alive in the College. We were also blessed to have a handful of Year 11 music students perform a beautiful rendition of a Samoan hymn during the foot-washing ceremony. We would like to thank all those who took part in the liturgy and wish you all a blessed a holy Easter season.
