Kyla Kaiser-Day, mother to Kobe Kaiser-Day (Class of 2021), encourages students to continue choosing Service Academy.

She says:
As an option my son enjoyed his time with his brotherhood on the Service Academy with St Paul's and has graduated into the NZDF Navy 2023 along with five ex Kelston students. He had completed his 16 weeks Basic Common Training; a lot of blood sweat and tears learning so much; a variety of drills, combat skills, weapons skills, first aid, fire fighting, and so much more. 

Kobe has a well-deserved two weeks leave and begins his trade learning Sailor OET Kaiser-Day Electronic Technician.

Thank you to Mr McDermott for your guidance support and pushing Kobe to go on Service Academy, his new career in the Navy and serving our nation with the endless opportunities and experience with world class defence force. I am unsure of many from St Paul's have gone on to pursue a career in the NZDF, we thank you! And so proud of Kobe.
