The Big Sing was held at the Auckland Town Hall on Wednesday 21 June. Our young men and the young women of Marist College in our combined choir represented both schools exceptionally and performed to a very high standard. As a result, this choir has been selected to attend the Cadenza (semi finals) in Rotorua on the 14-15th of August. Once we know more, we will communicate the plans with parents. In the meantime, all students who attended The Big Sing are expected at all rehearsals and workshops between now and Cadenza. Well done to the members of Confortare Per Mariam!!

All concert band members are reminded that rehearsals are held every Tuesday in the music room at 7:45-8:40am. As the KBB festival is coming up quickly on Friday 11 August, it is essential that all band members are at every rehearsal. 

I wish you all well over the teaching recess and hope you all enjoy time with your families. I do remind all our musicians that home rehearsal is a good thing to do during time off school.
