On Thursday 7 September St Paul's hosted four very different politicians who visited St Paul's in an effort to promote democratic engagement among our boys, especially for those who were able to vote this year. Chloe Swarbrick from the Greens, Simon O'Conner from the National Party, Helen White from the Labour Party and David Seymour from Act all presented their parties vision for New Zealand to our Year 12 and 13 students. The politicians were impressed by the calibre of questions coming from our young men including one, which I promise was unscripted about improving teacher pay and conditions.
