Yesterday we were delighted to welcome eleven of our young men into full communion with the Church as they received their Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. Nathaniel Phillips, Liam Coles, Enzo Ihaka, Kainen Fuimaono, Pharrell Hughes, Jaydn-Psalms Laupepa, Preston Etuale Faalau, Lazarus Ngata, Joseph Samuels, Dayton Waller, Aukustino Etuale, were also joined by three of Mrs Bradshaw's grandchildren, MacKenzie, Ava, and Harrison Pearce in a beautiful mass celebrated by our very own College Chaplain, Fr Glenford Lowe. It was very special to be able to extend our doors to our wider community as the Sacramental Programme steadily grows. It's clear that Fr Glen is already feeling comfortable in his new role as he led the celebrations with flexibility and poise. He was even kind enough to gift each of the candidates their very own metal cross as a keepsake. Many parents and whanau were also present to celebrate this special day, which concluded with kai in the Auditorium. We look forward to seeing these students continue to grow in their faith journey and participate in special character service at the College.
