A Spectacular Showcase of Talent and Unity 

What a splendid day we experienced this year at Athletics Day! Our school came alive with the vibrancy of all year groups participating in a variety of thrilling events, including the 100m, 200m, 800m, shot put, discus, long jump, and high jump.

The athletic prowess displayed by our students was truly remarkable. Vaetamasoalii Sipia, a standout in Year 9, delivered an outstanding performance by launching the shot put an impressive 10.84m. Equally impressive was Tane Keereweer-Taia from Year 11, soaring to a remarkable height of 1.66m in the high jump.

As the day progressed, Lavalla took the lead with exceptional results in the field events. However, the afternoon unfolded with Aquinas asserting dominance across all year groups during the scintillating track finals.

The culmination of the day's events brought about the closest competition at the top that our school has ever witnessed. Congratulations to Aquinas for their outstanding achievements and well-deserved success in Athletics Day 2024.
