On Thursday 22 February, the College held an NCEA information evening for the Year 12 and 13 families. The following topics were covered during the presentation:

• Completing homework daily and the use of College diary
• Importance of meeting assessment deadlines across all the subjects
• Submitting assessments of high quality to achieve Merit and Excellence Endorsement 
• Tracking for NCEA, Certificate Endorsement, subject endorsement, and University Entrance
• Importance of practice (school exams) and NZQA Examination in November 
• Being in school for 90% of the time and above
• Scholarship and tertiary study applications for Year 13 students
• Importance of higher Grade Point Average and rank score

We want to take this opportunity to thank the families who were part of the evening. It was a very pleasant evening with lots of questions and positive feedback. The College is appreciative of your hard work and continued support in shaping these young men.
