Last week I accompanied our student leaders, Waka Tate, Head Prefect, Solomon Nash, Deputy Head Prefect, and Steven Moala, Deputy Head Prefect, to Christchurch to participate in the Champagnat Marist Leadership forum. It was a great reminder that we are part of a wider Catholic network and a wider Catholic family. The student leaders who attended were proud of sharing how we live out our charism to make Jesus known and loved, and to hear how other colleges with the same Catholic Character do this.
The event was a good reminder of the gift of St Paul’s College, founded by the Marist Brothers. Through our Catholic faith and the charism of our school, we are truly Blessed with a template of discipleship through our Good Mother to find Jesus. We can live this out as a close family and live this out with our wider Catholic family.
Through the privileges we have been granted by being part of this school community, let us always be grateful that through our family spirit we can find Jesus in the way of Mary.
