St Paul’s Students Helping the Community

At St Paul’s College, we are proud of our students who have been helping out in the community. Their hard work reflects the values of St Marcellin Champagnat, who taught us to care for others and serve those in need.

Jan Maglangit volunteered for the Daffodil Day Street Appeals, collecting donations to support people affected by cancer. His efforts to raise money show kindness and a willingness to help others, just as Marcellin Champagnat taught.

Evan Kelly has been cleaning up his neighbourhood by picking up rubbish on his street. His work helps keep the environment clean, and it shows how even small actions can make a big difference. Marcellin believed in taking care of our world, and Evan is living that value.

Brothers Fayezian and Kyandre Cornejo put together a Quiz Night for Fitness Plus in Manukau. Their event raised funds to support fitness programs in the community, encouraging people to stay active and healthy. By organizing the event, they showed great teamwork and leadership, which are important qualities Marcellin Champagnat encouraged.

Aukustino Etuale has been volunteering at Fitness Plus Gym in Manukau, helping others stay fit and healthy. His contribution to the gym is another example of how we can serve our community and support the well-being of others, something Marcellin Champagnat valued.

These students are a great example of the Marist tradition of helping others. We are proud of their service and encourage everyone at St Paul’s College to find ways to contribute to the community.
