Last week, we celebrated Tokelau Language Week. The theme for this year was ‘Tokelau, tāofi mau tau aganuku, ko tō pale tēnā - Tokelau, holdfast to your culture, that is your crown.’
During the week, Year 12 student Zephan Pita-Lafaele celebrated his Tokelauan culture by speaking to the school about its significance to him. He explained how this year's theme is relevant not only to people of Tokelauan heritage but to all individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Thank you Zephan for sharing your culture and ideas.
