A wonderful start to the year at St Paul's College!
The excitement from the boys is always such a great way to start a new school term.
The first mihi whakatau to welcome new students and staff was a beautiful moment of connection and respect. The values of Manaakitanga (hospitality) and Whanaungatanga (relationship building) really shone through in this welcome.
Mr Dudley Tate, representing the College Board, brought a lot of warmth and wisdom in his speech on behalf of the school. What a lovely and heartfelt message for the entire St Paul’s community.
Mr Samuel Tanielu, as a returning teacher, offered his support and guidance to the new students and staff. His tautoko (support) really helped everyone feel welcomed and included in the school's whānau.
The mihi whakatau showed such a strong sense of unity and care for everyone—whānau, tauira (students), and kaimahi (staff), setting the tone for a year filled with positive relationships, growth, and success.
Here’s to a 2025 filled with joy, learning, and connection for all!
