Last week the students who completed the IGCSE Cambridge Mathematics examination were presented with the certificates. These students made history by appearing for the IGCSE Core Mathematics examination. The 24 students had to overcome the adversity of lockdown and do independent online learning to prepare themselves for the examination.
In October, still under lockdown, the 22 students turned up for the examination with their masks on. They did the school, themselves and their families proud. Overall, a 92% pass rate.
This year we have extended the Cambridge program to Year 10 Science and also to Year 11 Extended Mathematics. The students and teachers are working hard to do well again this year in these examinations.
As a college, we are proud of what these young men have achieved and are very hopeful that they make us even prouder this year as well. Through hard work, the right attitude, commitment to our learning, growth mind-set and perseverance, it is possible to achieve Excellence.
