Itinerant Music Programme

Welcome to music for 2022. I am confident that it is going to be another great year for our young musicians. 

Our itinerant music programme will begin over the next couple of weeks and I invite any students wanting to take part in instrumental lessons to come to the music room and sign up. Sign ups for Years 9 and up will be advertised to students via emails and school notices. Year 7's have been sent a Google Form for instrument selection, and I ask that this please be filled in and sent back to me by Friday 11 February. 

Our itinerant music staff teach across schools in their specialist instruments, and our instrumental music teachers this year are:

• Miss Da-Hae Kim - Brass/concert band
• Mr Scott Thomas - Woodwind/concert band
• Mr Steve Cournane - Percussion
• Mr Damian Hauwai - Guitar

I encourage any parents who may have questions about lessons or hiring/purchasing instruments to contact me via email.
