A visit from Des Hunt, renowned New Zealand author.

Our Year 7, 8 and 9 students were treated to an amazing presentation by the renowned New Zealand author, Des Hunt this week. He used chemistry and physics, which he taught in his earlier career, to explain how a good story should run, and the boys were totally enthralled.

Des has written 22 fiction books - 13 of which we have in our library and are very popular. His latest book Red Edge has been nominated in the New Zealand Book Awards for Junior Fiction.
