During Samoan Language Week, we had a great opportunity to strengthen the posts of our cultural identity by sharing our Samoan culture. Throughout the week, we had speakers during morning assembly sharing their understanding of the theme and showcasing their public speaking skills. The speaker of the week will get his name on the prestigious Samoan Language honours board.

Mrs Fiu and I took a group of young men, who are a part of the Tatau Manaia Dance Academy, to Marist Herne Bay to teach a few basics of Samoan dance. Our young men were great ambassadors for St Paul’s and represented us with grace and humility and even managed to get the Marist Herne Bay staff to do a few Samoan dance moves too.
