Congratulations St Paul's Juior Waka Ama Team!
Our Junior Waka Ama Team, fresh off a tough regatta at Orakei Basin where they came 1st in the W12 mixed category and narrowly missed a bronze medal in the W6 category.
Thank you to Greta Smith for helping drive our Waka Ama. For those new to the sport, Waka Ama is racing in outrigger canoes - the combination of team work, fitness, power & endurance suits our SPL sportsmen to a tee and I look forward to seeing this code develop over the next 18 months.
Well done to Jonte Collins (Yr 11) for coaching this young group and a pretty handy sportsman himself!
