Students in Year 10 were looking at the properties of magnetism as part the topic about Electricity and Magnetism

In the picture students moved a large magnet under a table with iron sand on the surface of the table. They observed how the iron sand moved forming small hair like structures. Magnetism is a fascinating natural phenomenon that boys always find interesting.
